These coaster sets are hand made and etched in Somerset by a wonderful small business, using natural slate. They make a fabulous gift or a kinder alternative to cork backed coasters.
They're eco-friendly, as slate is a sustainable material, and are long lasting and durable. They are coated with organic linseed oil which provides protection from scratches and stains. To clean simply wipe with a damp cloth (do not put these in a dishwasher). Each coaster has four silicone feet to protect your surfaces.
Each coaster is natural and has its own unique character. The coasters are artisan made and come in smoother or more textured varieties, please leave a comment on your order if you would prefer one more than the other. Some of the coasters also have natural gold flecks within the slate.
