Anxiety Koala for Dorset Mind

Anxiety Koala for Dorset Mind

Hello!

I am so excited to introduce my Anxiety Koala! I started this drawing, around A2 size, during my A level exams in 2022 as a way of stress and anxiety relief. I could loose myself in the wonderful array of texture on the koala and forget about everything else. Over 18 months I continued to dip in and out of the drawing, but only when I felt stressed or anxious.

I recently finished the koala and wanted to do a limited edition series from it. However, a goal of mine for 2024 was to raise money for surrounding charities and support the community, as I have been so grateful of the support I've received locally since beginning my business. I then thought of Dorset Mind and the fabulous work they do to support people struggling with their mental health in Dorset. There is now a limited edition print run of 25 (A2 fine art prints) of which 10% is donated to Dorset Mind.

The first of the 25 prints sold at the beginning of March and the second is now being framed, and is available in SK Picture Framing (Blandford) alongside some of my original art.

Please be aware that these prints are printed once purchased, by a local printing company. This is so they are not damaged while stored due to their size but this does mean they can take a few weeks for us to receive before we send off to you.

To find out more information about Dorset Mind please visit their website.

Lots of love, Lucy & Frankie xx
